Your tasks

  • Seek and develop relationships with potential new clients to generate new business 
  • Produce a structured strategy for targeting new accounts
  • Develope business from existing referred customers to up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Ensure that customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion
  • Make recommendations for M&A that aligns with divisional direction
  • Work closely with sales personnel, product specialist, field application engineer, project and market managers while increasing market share through strategic partnerships
  • Increase sales revenue for the Group by providing high quality and innovative solutions
  • Assist in building and oversee the opportunity funnel (CRM), take ownership of the 5-year business plan and have a solid understanding and experience with solution selling
  • Open doors, access customers, develop strategic relationships, access a wide customer base

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom, EE or IT related fields; Master Degree a plus.
  • Background in US telecom operators, neutral hosts, equipment supply or engineering services beneficial
  • 10+ years relevant industry experience and professional sales with minimum 5+ years’ experience with significant customer interaction in desired field with proven track record
  • Design and development experience required
  • Strong ability to engage in new product and application research, customizing new features and benefits
  • 7+ years of related commercial experience with significant customer interface
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with passive optical technologies
  • Knowledge of key competitors, technical specification trends, and key customers in the Small Cell, IBC/DAS connectivity, WDM market segment etc.
  • Knowledge in network deployment scenarios and challenges of next generation networks
  • Good understanding of the communication technology and 5G emerging trends in connectivity, WDM architectures and deployment methodologies
  • Knowledge of sales tactics as it pertains to account development
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying future customer, market needs, trends and validating them
