Your tasks

  • Create and review engineering documentation on applications, specifications and quality matters
  • Assist in the exchange of technical information between Field Applications Engineers, H+S Inc. and other H+S group members for all products
  • Act as a technical contact for distribution channels
    Propose and quote HUBER+SUHNER solutions
  • Responsible for maintaining and executing engineering change notifications
  • Support of prototypes and new product introductions
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest manufacturing techniques and technologies at HUBER+SUHNER’s manufacturing centers
  • Support customer complaints on products and solutions
  • Review and support obsolete parts
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining quoting tools
  • Prepare part adds and manufacturing documentation package.
  • Includes setting part numbers in the system, creating Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS), assembly labels (text markers) and package labels
  • Responsible for the identification and execution of transfer process

Your profile

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • General understanding of Radio Frequency, Fiber Optics and Low Frequency desired
  • Strong attention to detail and engineering control methods
  • Good understanding of manufacturing methods and standard assembly capabilities
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Technical Writing experience (i.e. creation of manufacturing documents, drawing interpretation)
  • Experience in Quality/Contract Review
  • Data/database maintenance
