Your tasks

HUBER+SUHNER Polatis designs and manufactures all-optical fibre-optic switches which make and maintain their optical connections by means of our patented DirectLight™ beam steering technology.  Working closely with our remotely based sales team, your primary responsibility will be to develop new accounts in the Service Provider, Data Center, Intelligence / Government, and Enterprise market segments and other markets where HUBER+SUHNER Polatis is not currently selling solutions.
  
You will need to develop a target account list for outbound lead generation campaigns, contact new prospects inside a campaign to introduce them to HUBER+SUHNER Polatis, and develop relationships with key account contacts, introducing the business to our regional account managers. In addition: 
 
  • Maintain personal customer relationships as required
  • Collaborate with the application and solutions team to customize our value proposition
  • Drive the development of collateral needed to further position joint solutions with our partners
  • Drive the development and implementation of webinars as needed to support the campaign
  • Manage regular updates for sales management and account teams on developing business
  • Utilize Salesforce.com or another CRM platform as the depository for contact and status information to enable productive collaboration

Your profile

To be successful, you’ll ideally have an accredited college degree in a relevant subject, plus 2 to 5 years of strategic sales experience as well as cold calling and prospecting sales skills.

You’ll be highly organised with excellent interpersonal, presentation and verbal/written communication skills.

You must be located in the Boston area and be willing to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
