Your tasks

This role will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering department including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement, in addition to collaboration with design/purchasing and workshop/assembly teams on design projects. It will include the design, development, implementation, testing and support of the HUBER+SUHNER Polatis range of photonic switch products.

Your profile

As a graduate in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering you will have a least 10 years industry experience to date, within a Telecommunications or Aerospace environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex products against demanding timescales. You will possess a fundamental understanding of analogue electronics, with particular emphasis in high sensitivity analogue circuit design, utilising low noise op-amps. Low power design experience is also a ‘must-have’, in addition to experience of complex PCB designs using both analogue and digital electronics. With an innate and impeccable attention to detail you will be
able to plan, schedule, co-ordinate and trouble shoot effectively whether you are required to work autonomously or contribute and influence in a team setting.
