| Summary of Key responsibilities:|
Management of the MDM team, defines focus and priorities to balance the workload and in order to achieve the overall goals.
Develops and implements specific KPIs to measure and control the performance of the team.
Works to provide necessary tools and methods, measure performance based upon KPI's and continuously improve on product and process level.
Effectively implement all aspects of the AS9100 and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System within the master data management system.
Adhere to all regulations and guidelines contained within the Global Management System.
Reporting to the Director of operations and maintains a strong interface with all members of operations department. Active involvement in frequent staff review meetings.
Constantly develop the MDM team as well as each individual team member in order to achieve best possible performance.
Open and supportive communication with other stakeholders outside the of the H+S Astrolab organization as e.g. the global MDM team in Switzerland or the order handling departments within the sales organisations.
Represents the organization at customer or supplier meetings as required.
Strongly supports data accuracy in all system within the organization: BOMs and Master Data.
Ensures the timely and accurate flow of production life cycle of new/existing designs.
Monitors production orders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
Adheres to all regulations and guidelines contained in the Global Management System.
Provides leadership and management according to the H+S leadership principles.
Complies with company policies and procedures.
Develops and implements department policies or procedures.
Maintains metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training records.
Participates in the recruitment and selection of department members.
Provides supervisory oversight to employees, including scheduling, PTO approval, timekeeping and payroll.
Manages and directs the team in respect of workload, orientation, training and personal development.
Positive and proactive communication with company customers as well as other H+S units.
Resolves department and interdepartmental issues collaboratively.
Trains department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global and local strategies.
Implements all management directives as specified and fully supports all management directives.
Performs yearly performance appraisals.
All other relevant duties as assigned.
