Summary of Key responsibilities


Boundaries of responsibilities and interaction with others


  • Responsible to implement and effectively manage the objectives, projects and tasks as established by the Engineering Manager.
  • Works to provide necessary support to the ANA Department to continuously improve test method’s accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Responsible for test results outcome from the ANA Department.
  • Performs data package review of Test Procedures.
  • Adhere to all regulations and guidelines contained within the Global Management System.
  • Implements all management directives from the Engineering Manager as specified and fully supports all management directives provided to the Engineering Department.
  • Must work well in a team environment with Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Sales and Finance Departments.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
  • Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems.
  • Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
  • Compile data and write reports regarding existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects.
  • Evaluates the mechanical and electrical performance of RF and microwave products, including cables, connectors, adapters and passive devices.
  • Ability to manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities on engineering projects.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.

Your profile


Education/Experience:


  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science discipline
  • Minimum 2 years product design/development engineering experience, preferably in the Aerospace & Defence Industry
  • Minimum 2 years Computer-aided design (CAD)/ AUTOCAD preferred.
  • Experience with the design/development and testing of passive microwave components
  • CST and HFSS simulation software experience preferred

Skills:

  • Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients.
