We’re looking for Regional Sales Lead EMEA – Government and Intelligence (G&I) Sales to join our product focused team – The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to Government and Intelligence customers in EMEA.

The Regional Sales Manager should be the main point of communication both into this regional market as well as providing feedback into Polatis regarding industry trends, market movement and ultimately developing and executing the sales strategy for his/her region.

The position requires the ability to build trust at all levels within a customer organization from Technician to engineer to Program Manager and C-level personnel within the government and government contractor space.

The Regional Sales Manager must be able to present applicable technical and business proposals/presentations to all levels of an organization and pursue opportunities to a positive outcome for Polatis. The position must include travel to customer sites as well as the ability to remotely present the Polatis Value Proposition to customers.

The position requires selection and management of relevant channel partners in various regions as well as working closely with the regional Huber+Suhner sales managers. The Regional market will consist of Europe, Middle East, India and Africa.


Your profile

To be successful, the applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in a technical of business field of study and 15+ years of experience in the fiber optics industry with in depth knowledge of optical communications, data centre and optical lab environments.

Experience with government and government contractors and procurement is required – preferably intelligence market customers. The applicant should be well versed in managing sales revenue in excess of $5M per year. Fluency in English required with a secondary language also preferred. Travel maybe required as needed.
