Your tasks

Transfer specific Customer needs into appropriate product applications (Design-In). Ensure that HUBER+SUHNER has an attractive, competitive and profitable offering of standardized or customized products and solutions. Actively promote the development of standardized or customized product and solutions in order to enhance the Global competitiveness of HUBER+SUHNER. From our business development strategy for customers; ensure that the offerings are engineered with a functionality fit for both easy application and manufactures.

Main Tasks:

  • Provides technical support to sales organization
  • Processes technical customer inquiries (non standard enquiries)
  • Coordinates and manages applications and development projects towards customers including technical documentation
  • Provides internal and external product training
  • Compiles cost calculations

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree in electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent with focus on radio frequency technology
  • Explicitly you have minimum 3 - 5 years professional work experience in an engineering environment with practical knowledge and operational experience in mechanics / electronics
  • Profound knowledge of engineering methods is mandatory
  • Advanced commercial education is of advantage, e.g. costing methods, marketing essentials etc. with Experience in providing cost calculations 
  • Experience/willingness with working in international, intercultural and cross functional teams is required
  • Necessary language Skills: English plus a relevant second language fluent in written and spoken (German, French, Italian)
  • Solution oriented, organized, independent / self-sufficient and structured way of working
