Your tasks

HUBER+SUHNER France is a sales subsidiary of the HUBER+SUHNER Group. We are located close to Versailles and with our ca. 20 employees we are responsible to take care of the customers and partners in France but also of assigned customers and partners in other countries. As the Finance & HR Manager you are the “right hand” of the Country Managing Director. You ensure that all responsibilities in relation to Finance and HR as well as related topics with a financial impact, like e.g. Facility Management and company cars, are professionally managed, in line with the legal laws, best practice and corporate guidelines / processes. In this function you are supported part-time by an accountant. You are also reporting dotted line to the CFO and to the CHRO of the HUBER+SUHNER Group and are part of their global network.

The main tasks of this multifaceted position are:

  • monthly / yearly closure (in SAP) and financial reporting to Corporate Controlling (in COGNOS)
  • accounting for fixed assets, cash management, taxes
  • opening of customer accounts and credit limits, customer accounting and reminders
  • managing the relationship with the auditors
  • management of inventory, expense reports and meal vouchers
  • ensure on time payment of the salaries and bonuses (in SAGE)
  • management of all global HR processes as process manager around the employment relationship on a local level from hiring to leaving (end-to-end) including administrative handling
  • first point of contact for employees and line managers
  • creation of HR related reports, analyses, KPIs
  • contact person for compliance topics and ensuring data protection

Your profile

  • degree in Finance & Accounting, further education in HR related topics (social sciences)-
  • several years of experience as Finance Responsible for a French company, ideally being part of an international company
  • experience as HR Manager / HR support, preferably in an international machinery company (collective agreement GIM)
  • very good knowledge of financial and labor law (and collective bargaining agreements) as well as tax and social security law
  • very good IT user skills, preferably in SAP
  • impeccable reputation, high social and communication skills
  • high level of self-motivation, ability to work in a team, customer orientation, as well as an effective and efficient way of working
  • very good command of French and English
  • discretion/confidentiality
