Financial Controller

Main tasks and duties:

Main purpose of this job:

• To monitor and maintain the integrity of the Huber+Suhner accounts and to control costs through the implementation of policy and the application of effective controls;
• To review the company accounting records that enable true and fair accounts to be produced;
• To ensure that group reporting requirements are adhered to.

The role itself can be broken down into 2 key activity groups: Accounting and Controlling.

Accounting:

• Participation in the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts;
• Budget implementation control, analysis of deviations;
• Preparation of periodic reports, both group and statutory;
• Analysis of the company's cash flows;
• Participation in the month and year closing process, including the settlement of costs of the production company;
• Support in the statutory reporting;
• Cooperation with accounting group shared service center;
• Support in tax relief and cash grant settlements.

Controlling:

• Business controlling of Communication projects in Poland;
• Responsibility for project financial reporting;
• Cost controlling, including concept of proper and sufficient cost allocation model;
• Participation in business case analysis for new projects. 

Essential requirements:

• Higher education in finance or equivalent;
• Min. 5 years of experience in financial/business controlling within multinational organization;
• International qualifications ACCA/CIMA highly appreciated;
• Expert in MS Office tools;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Polish and English;
• Experience in SAP and project management highly appreciated;
• Ability to work in dynamic environment, under time pressure - multitasking is essential;
• Positive and proactive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, goal orientated team player.
