Quality Engineer

Krzeszowice | full time | Unlimited

Your tasks

We are currently looking for experienced Quality Engineer. As part of the Quality Team, you will lead programmes to maintain and improve processes for delivering world-class products. Your role will involve managing assembly, inspection, and testing of micro-components in a cleanroom, analysing data to support concept and prototype development, and performing rework and reporting in line with approved instructions. You will also drive the creation of manufacturing standards and documentation, and contribute to key product and process projects to foster a Lean Quality Manufacturing culture.

Key tasks:

  • Quality process development in production
  • Optimization of quality processes
  • Creating qualitative reports
  • Responsibility for quality documentation in the subordinate area 
  • Preparation of reports and analyses of qualitative indicators
  • Participation in audits ( internal/external)
  • Lead troubleshoots problems including data analysis with equipment, devices or products ( internal issue/ returns from customer): 8D/ PDCA processes
  • Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity
  • Participate in developing, building and testing of prototypes, new products, processes or procedures
  • Manage work area to agreed 5S standards
  • Participate in and drive Lean practices including identification, investigation, and implementation of organisation programmes and projects

Your profile

  • Attention to detail and an awareness of Health & Safety practices
  • Evidence of strong practical skills is essential
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of electronics and circuitry will be an advantage
  • Able to interpret engineering proposals and liaise with other disciplines
  • Knowledge of Problem-Solving Tools like 8D, Ishikawa, 5Whys, PFMEA, Control plans etc
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Excel, or MES systems for data entry
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and through written reports, in Polish and English
